ABOUT US
The Giacomo Puccini Choral Association of Torre del Lago was founded in 1998 by Maestro Marco Trasatti with the aim of giving everyone the opportunity to approach opera music. In 2024 she was appointed Official Choir of the city of Viareggio. In addition to the concerts distributed throughout the year dedicated to every national and local holiday, the choir organizes courses in opera, sacred music, local folk music (carnival songs) for adults and children.
On the You Tube platform is available the "Introductory Course to Choral Singing" (which can also be viewed through the choir's website) aimed at training the chorister. The choir has a channel on You Tube called "MUSICA CORALE" where videos of the concerts and videos of the numerous live broadcasts made during the COVID period are visible.
Also with the collaboration of prof. Franco Anichini Paths have been created with the help of texts, images and music about artists and places of our land.
The choir is regularly registered with the Registry Office and FENIARCO (Italian Choirs Association).
He currently performs choral rehearsals at the Jenco Theater and the church of SS. Annunziata in Viareggio.
